Frequently Asked Questions - Donations-
Not yet. We will see how many people join our meetings over the first three to four months and go from there. If people are getting value out of what we are doing we have a pathway to convert to non-profit, yes. There is significant costs to going non-profit and so far this entirely self funded from personal savings.
(If we file within 27 months, the IRS can grant our tax-exempt status retroactively to the date of formation (roughly spring of 2026). If that happens, any donations would become deductible, even those donations made in July 2026 for example)

Mainly all the subscription services that are required - Zoom, website, trademark filing, fees, etc. Beyond those costs we will set aside funding for scholarships that people or family members or friends can apply for quickly and easily for treatment, sober living housing rent or childcare.
